🔵Define a Part Naming Scheme
Define a part naming scheme to ensure consistency in your part numbering system.
Steps to define naming scheme
Select parts ==> settings.
Select the new naming scheme button.
Enter the name.
Enter the pattern. Please refer the pattern instruction while defining the naming scheme.
For example, if you want all your part number begin with ABC, then your pattern should be like "ABC-"nnnnnn.
Click on default, active or mandatory checkbox.
If you make it default, by default this naming scheme will be selected while creating the part.
If you make it mandatory, user will not have any choice to enter other part number.
Make sure to click active check box, without it your naming scheme will not be active.
Click on create.
